About RBH URC-2004
Built as a high density controller for enterprise access control deployments, the RBH URC-2004 manages up to four independent doors from a single panel. Moreover, it relies on flash-based firmware, which allows quick and simple upgrades without replacing hardware, and it uses fully distributed intelligence so the panel keeps making access decisions on its own even when disconnected from the host computer.
In addition, functions such as access-level changes, schedule activation, and card expiry are all handled locally by the controller itself. Furthermore, the panel includes an on-board clock, backup memory, and thermal overload protection, while communication is fully supervised over both RS-485 and TCP/IP, with selectable speeds reaching up to 56.6 Kbps.
Consequently, the URC-2004 connects to the Integra32 server either through an LIF-200 TCP/IP gateway or directly via a USB/RS-485 converter, supporting a network of up to eight panels per controller loop.
